If an organization with core foundations stands for those principals what do they get in Berkeley? An opportunity to fight for their rights against radical homosexuals in the Supreme Court. This is what is happening to the Sea Scouts in CA. I had never heard of the Sea Scouts before now, it turns out they are a group, affiliated with the Boy Scouts, who teaches youth sailing skills, as well as carpentry and plumbing. So the question now is what do homosexuals have to do with sailing? Other then the obvious jokes. The radical homosexuals in Berkeley want to be scout leaders and of course this group does not want them involved with spending time in close proximity to their youth. I am sure they are not teaching these youth to be anit-homosexual or more heterosexual, they just have a preference based on their foundation. So does this mean they should be excluded from or charged for the use of a public marina? Well the judges in Berkeley think so. After 50 years of being allowed to use the marina at no cost they have been ordered to pay $6,000 a year rent, while other nonprofit groups pay nothing. This is an outrage, they are a nonprofit group, who seeks to better the lives of youth by teaching them a skill, and the radical homosexuals and their agenda want to ruin the party, I thought they were supposed to be the life of the party. There are many other groups who use public grounds for their causes and I do not want to impose my idealogy on them in order to allow them to use our public grounds. So then why do the radical homosexuals want to force their ideology on others, mainly youth?
Anyway the Thomas Law Center is fighting this case for the Scouts and I urge all those who care about the first amendment to support the Scouts and Thomas More Law Center.
