Resolution H.R. 487; stop the NAFTA superhighways

Here we go again since there is no North American Union plans I wonder why Rep. Virgil Goode Jr, R-VA is introducing resolution H.R. 487? This is from today's WND

North American Union threat gets attention of congressmen

Rep. Virgil Goode Jr., R-Va., has introduced a resolution – H.R. 487 – designed to express "the sense of Congress that the United States should not engage in the construction of a North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Superhighway System or enter into a North American Union (NAU) with Mexico and Canada."

"Now that Congress is preparing to take up the issues of the North American Union and NAFTA superhighways, we are moving out of the realm where critics can attempt to disparage the discussion as 'Internet conspiracy theory,'" explained Jerome Corsi, author and WND columnist who has written extensively on the Security and Prosperity Partnership – the semisecret plan many suspect is behind the efforts to create a European Union-style North American confederation and link Mexico and Canada with more transcontinental highways and rail lines. "This bill represents a good first step."

The resolution calls for the House of Representatives to agree on three issues of determination:

  1. The United States should not engage in the construction of a North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Superhighway System;
  2. The United States should not enter into a North American Union with Mexico and Canada; and
  3. The President should indicate strong opposition to these or any other proposals that threaten the sovereignty of the United States.

"As important as this resolution is," Corsi said, "we need still more congressional attention. Where is congressional oversight of SPP? We need congressional hearings, not just congressional resolutions."

We need to make this an issue to not only Congress but to all of our citizens. Not many know that this is being proposed or what is going on behind closed doors. If we dont stop this merging of countries who will? We the people....

U.S. population to top 300 million this month

As the US population reaches 300 million people Reuters asks the question, how will it affect our environment? Reporting on a report written by the Center for Environment and Population they write this:

U.S. population to top 300 million this month

In the areas of land-use, water, biodiversity, forests, fisheries and aquatic resources, Americans are consuming more than they did in the past. The report found:

-- Each American occupies 20 percent more developed land -- housing, schools, shopping and roads -- than 20 years ago.

-- Each American uses three times as much water as the world average; over half the original wetlands in the United States have been lost, mainly due to urban and suburban development and agriculture.

-- Half the continental United States can no longer support its original vegetation; nearly 1,000 plant and animal species are listed by the U.S. government as endangered or threatened, with 85 percent of those due to habitat loss or alteration.

-- The United States consumes nearly 25 percent of the world's energy, though it has only 5 percent of the world's population, and has the highest per capita oil consumption worldwide.

-- Each American produces about 5 pounds (2.3 kilogram) of trash a day, up from about 3 pounds (1.4 kilogram) in 1960; the current rate is about five times that in developing countries.

I wonder how having 1 billion people, such as in India and China affects the environment? I also wonder if their government or people even care?
I also wonder if the 300th million person will be brought into our country legally or illegally? I tend to think it will be the later.

Mexico does not want a Fence, big suprise

Heres a news story from Reuters Mexico urges Bush to veto U.S. border fence bill
I am glad that they reported this. Of course Mexico does not want a fence their people is their number one export and one of the biggest industries boasting their GNP, along with their ever flourishing drug trade. And now that the truth comes out that Islamic fascists have been infiltrating Mexico to use our pours borders to get into our country. Should we not protect ourselves? Vicente Fox thinks not he said,

"The Mexican government strongly opposes the building of walls in the border area between Mexico and the United States," President Vicente Fox's spokesman Ruben Aguilar told reporters on Monday.

"This decision hurts bilateral relations, goes against the spirit of cooperation needed to guarantee security on the common, creates a climate of tension in border communities," he said.

We need to secure our country and this would include building a fence to keep those who do not belong here, including illegal Mexicans and their corruption. What is security on the common? Can anyone explain that one to me?

Teacher caught Emailing 9th grade student

Another teacher trying to get a sexual relationship with their student. This story comes from Texas where the teacher was emailing her student. I wonder it this type of behavior is exacerbated by our lieing president Clinton, or the media's sateration of sex on tv? No matter what it can all go back to Kinsey and the sexual revolution of the 60's.

Teacher charged after e-mails to student found

Holly Christine VanSumeren, 31, an eighth-grade reading teacher at Parkview Intermediate School in Pasadena, was taken into custody Saturday and released after posting a $10,000 bond. A warrant for her arrest had been issued by the district's police department.

"Though I have not read all of the e-mails, I can tell you that the teacher was attempting to begin an inappropriate relationship with the student and the two were in the process of arranging a meeting. My understanding is that a meeting never took place," said Pasadena ISD Superintendent Kirk Lewis. Lewis declined to comment on the exact nature of the e-mails.

Outsourceing Ideas

More outsourceing ideas, private tutors. Goodbye Sylvan Learning Centers and others in this field. Would you like your kids learning English from someone in India? Some are saying that is works and who can beat the $2.50 per hour price tag, forget how many American lives this will ruin.

U.S. homework outsourced as "e-tutoring" grows
"Private tutors are a luxury many American families cannot afford, costing anywhere between $25 to $100 an hour. But California mother Denise Robison found one online for $2.50 an hour -- in India."

I think that online tutors are a good idea for many reasons, such as to cut costs, but come on tutors from India, this can not be good for America no matter how many benefits people believe there are. I guess this is what we get by employing a defunct public education system in a godless society.

Attorney seeking over $1 mill officer couldn't communicate w/ Hispanic

Do we live in America? I believe we do, therefore, why do our police officers need to learn Spanish? I also hate it when those automated phones ask us to press 2 for spanish, but thats another story. In Texas the city of Royce in Hunt County is being sued because an officer, who was doing his job, detained a man who only spoke Spanish, the lawyer also claims excessive force was used because there was a communication barrier. This is America and if someone is going to live here they need to learn English, it is not our responsibility to accommodate the needs of those living here who do not speak English. This is another reason why congress should make a law saying that English is the only and official language of America. If not, because of multiculturalisim, we will all need to speak not only Spanish but also Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, French, and other languages to meet the needs of our guests and new citizens.

City sued: Didn't teach cop Spanish

"The plaintiff in the suit said he had been coming to the U.S. to work for 23 years but did not understand what the officer meant when he repeatedly said, "Down! Down! Down!"

The suit against Royce City is seeking $1 million in exemplary damages, $3,000 in medical expenses, $150,000 in damages for pain and suffering and $25,000 for lost wages, as well as an apology from the police officer."

Students forced to Strip in PE: London

This is outrageous, glad I do not live in London. It I did, even when I have kids here in AMerica, they will not be attending public school for reasons like this and many other reasons. Schoolgirls forced to strip to underwear in front of boys for PE

Parents staged an angry protest after their young daughters were forced to strip to their underwear in front of boys at school.

The girls, aged ten and 11, were left in tears after being ordered to change for PE in a mixed classroom under a school policy blamed on health and safety regulations.

In a statement to parents, she said: "The arrangements started this term purely for health and safety reasons. I cannot have unsupervised children at school."

The Department for Education said: "It is up to the head to decide what happens when children are changing for PE. It is a matter of personal discretion."

Health and safety, I have never heard of such a thing. For the students safety they should not be changing in front of boys or teachers. No wonder they also have issues of teacher student sexual relations.

A comment by a poster "That's the most pathetically bureaucratic thing I've ever heard. Absolutely disgusting."

- Thomas Parker, Gulfport, Mississippi - USA

Note to Self

I think to myself if nobody is reading what am I writing for. Well I guess I should be writing for myself and for the cause of spreading the truth. Rather then long articles I will now write small snippets as most bloggers do. I have a desire to be a writer but if no one reads then there is not point to my writing. Thanks to all who are reading and I will be committed to commenting on the news of the day in small snippets. I will still be doing a shout out to those in the movement who are making waives. I am also committed to making a weekly article highlighting the issue of global governance.

Cartoon Mocking Hitler

If you have not seen this cartoon yet you must. It is a cartoon of Hitler singing that he will not surrender and little Hitlers calling him a natzi pig. Here is the English subtitle version
da bunker
What is so ironic about this video is that some are standing up against it, I mean come on Hitler is not a man to stand up for, even if it is just a video making fun of him. Here is a quote from Guardian
"Despite thousands of Moers fans making the clip one of this week's top internet downloads, many prominent German Jews have complained at the comic portryal of the mass-murdering dictator. Jewish author Ralph Giordano, one of those speaking out against Moers' film, said: "You cannot treat the father of the Holocaust in this way."

And this from A Jewish person, no wonder why many did not get the hint when they were being haled away to concentration camps with the promise of going to a holiday retreat. I wish people would get this mad about the cartoons and videos mocking President Bush.

Gnome More

Here is a news story that is a little more light hearted. When I read it I just had to laugh. It is so funny!!! I hope you enjoy it too!!

Man's Lost Gnome Attends Steelers Game
Sep 20 5:03 PM US/Eastern AP Breitbart News
Allen Snyder's garden gnome is apparently out of jail and now traveling the country. The 14-inch tall red-and-white statue disappeared from Snyder's Morgantown yard in the spring, and Snyder has since received three letters claiming to have been written by "Gnomey."

The latest letter, which Snyder received this week, included photos of the gnome in the company of Steelers fans attending Pittsburgh's football home opener.

"You never took me to any games," the note said. The letter ended: "Have to go now. Boarding a plane. Now, finally, broadening my travels."

An earlier letter included a request for bail money and included what appeared to be booking photos of Gnomey and another of the gnome in the back seat of a police car.

Snyder has no idea who's pulling this prank but said his short list of suspects includes several gag-loving friends.

The plight of his gnome has gotten a lot of attention. Snyder says people are always asking if he's heard from Gnomey.

"I never thought it would go this far," he said.

The story has even caught the attention of officials at Travelocity, which uses a roaming gnome in the online travel agency's advertising.

"While we know that your dear friend, Gnomey, can never be replaced, we're sending the enclosed Roaming Gnome to keep you company in his absence," wrote Michelle Peluso, president and chief executive officer of Travelocity, based in Southlake, Texas. "Hopefully your friend will find his way out of trouble and back to your front yard soon, although we can't help but admire his sense of adventure and love of travel."

Where are our Borders going?

There is one subject that I think about constantly, but I try not to speak about to many people. This issue not only scares me but it makes me mad. The issue I am talking about is global governance. More specific to us here in the US I am taking about NAFTA and now President Bush's SPP, Security and Prosperity Program.
Of course I could talk ad nauseam about this subject, we see what it has done to Europe, we saw its effects through the League of Nations, and now in the UN, and now we are seeing it in our own country. Why do you think that we still have pours borders? Isn't it interesting that the first President Bush hailed his Presidency as the new world order and implemented NAFTA? Now NAFTA had spread to CAFTA, FATAA, and the scariest of all the SPP, which creates the foundation for the North American Union.
Sure many people out their are thinking thats not going to happen, it can't we are America and will always be America. That is true we will always be America, just with no borders, a "free exchange of people and goods". Sure I think that free trade is a good thing, but too much freedom, as we are seeing in our own culture, can be harmful. We need to keep our sovereignty, and boundaries, if we loose it we will lose who we are, just like the Europeans.
What also scares me is that all of this is being done behind closed doors and the people have no say in what is going on. When this story broke by Jerome R Corsi of Human Events I went to the SPP.gov site and there was nothing there. As more people started speaking out the government started putting more information about their plans, in order to ease emotions. But the real question is not what are they saying it is what are they not saying. Please all who read these words start studying this subject and speak out about against global governance. Phyllis Shlafly has entire page dedicated to this subject check it out at http://www.eagleforum.org/topics/NAU/index.html

Shout Out

This week's shout out goes to Michelle Malkin. Most who are reading this probably know who Michelle Malkin is, but if you don't here is a little background from her blog at Michele Malkin Bio

"I began my career in newspaper journalism more than a decade ago as an editorial writer and columnist for the Los Angeles Daily News (1992-94).  Covered school board meetings and pole sign ordinances. Exposed Rep. Maxine Waters' gang-infested job-training center boondoggle. Received a death threat from the Mexican mafia. Moved to the Pacific Northwest and worked at the Seattle Times from 1996 to 1999. Wrote editorials supporting a repeal of the death tax. Opposed editorial board on everything else. Exposed Gov. Gary Locke's Buddhist temple cash connections. Opposed publisher and supported successful campaign to abolish race-based affirmative action in government hiring, contracting, and college admissions. Quit job and moved to Washington, D.C."

Michelle Malkin is a truth warrior and her work is doing so much to bring like minded people together through the internet. Her blog receives over 100,000 hits a day. Not only that she also had one of the best video blogs on the web hotair.com this site is so important to  getting the message of truth out, and to help get more younger people involved and prepared. My hope is that people of opposing views will hear her words and be challenged. Those college grads should use their critical thinking skills for something other then finding ways to spread liberal propaganda. We need more women like her speaking out and fighting for the truth. She is another example that conservatives are not rich power seeking old white men. Please support Michelle!! She supports us!!!

The Pope should stand up for truth not lie down for lies

I must say that the Pope's comments are right, well not his comments but the quote he used. And isn't it ironic the Radical Muslims who are mad about a quote that says Islam is a violent religion combat that comment with violence? The world is outraged, but if they say that about say Christianity or Judaism no outrage and no violence.
Why should the pope retract a quote that he did not make? Why should the Pope retract a comment that is true, is not the Pope supposed to be a beacon of truth?
Why is the world not outraged about the inhuman acts of Iran, Iraq, and North Korea? Where is the truth?

Al-Qaida is coming, Al-Qaida is coming

Another 9/11 is coming, but you already knew that. The question is when? In an interesting article reported today by World Net Daily, Al-Qaida warns Muslims:Time to get out of US, they report on another article where a top level Al-Quida says ""Our brothers are ready to attack inside America. We will breach their security again," he is quoted as saying. "There is no timeframe for our attack inside America; we can do it any time." We need to wake up and remember what day and age we live in. See the full article at WND
As Paul Revire rode to warn of the British coming lets be like Paul Revire and shout from the roof tops Al-Qaida is coming Al-Qaida is coming!!!
